Clare Anna Hansford
A visual artist based in Saltburn by the sea, Clare studied International textiles and surface pattern design at Cleveland College of Art and Design, receiving a Bachelor of Arts honours degree from Teesside University in 1998.
She grew up in Hartlepool and has lived in Saltburn for over 10 years. In addition to working in education she runs arts and crafts workshops across the Tees valley area.
Her paintings are influenced by the textile design training and inspired by cultures and daily life around the world.
