Drawn to the Light

This work was made through collaboration between Mags Hayden and Kathryn Wren.

The light boxes were initially made for an installation piece that was funded by the Arts Council and exhibited in St Thomas ’ Church, New Marske. Since the work was made in October ‘06 we have continued to collaborate, producing further images, which complement the light boxes.

Our work continues to grow and move into other areas, through various art mediums such as drawing, painting, photography, and ICT. Installation art is the vehicle we use to predominantly express ourselves.

We have also worked together on various projects, gaining commissions, workshops and future exhibitions.

Both of us are available to do workshops for children and adults. We have years of experience both in schools and the community. We cover a wide range of themes and media. Please contact us for further details.
